Prepaid Debit Cards
As of April 1, 2008, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income recipients have the option of receiving their benefits on a prepaid Direct Express debit card. This card would be an option for those who do not have bank accounts or for those who have creditors who have access to their bank accounts.
